Applicable places for gas detectors
Can be widely used in urban gas, petrochemical, metallurgy, iron and steel plants, coking coal, power plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing, oil and gas storage, sewage treatment and other fields.

When combustible gas leaks in the industrial environment and daily life environment (such as a kitchen using natural gas), and the flammable gas alarm detects that the concentration of flammable gas reaches the alarm value set by the alarm, the flammable gas alarm will emit sound and light. Alarm signals to remind people to take safety measures such as evacuation, forced exhaust, and shutdown of equipment. And the gas alarm can be linked with related linkage equipment. If leakage occurs during factory production, storage and transportation, it can drive exhaust, power cut off, spraying and other systems to prevent explosions, fires, and poisoning accidents, thereby ensuring safe production.

Applicable places for gas detectors
It is often used in chemical plants, petroleum, gas stations, steel plants, etc. where flammable gases are used or generated.

Gas detector installation
(1) The gas detector probe is mainly a detection element that contacts the combustion gas sensor. It is composed of a platinum wire coil covered with alumina and an adhesive to form a spherical shape, and its outer surface is covered with rare metals such as platinum and palladium. Therefore, care must be taken during installation to avoid breaking the sensor.

(2) The installation height of the gas detector should be determined according to the nature of the gas. The density of the gas to be measured is different, and the installation position of the indoor probe should also be different. When the detected gas is lighter than air, the gas detector should be installed at a height of 30-60cm from the roof; when the detected gas is heavier than air, it should be installed at a height of 30-60cm from the ground.

(3) The gas detector is a safety instrument with sound and light display functions. It should be installed where the staff can easily see and hear it, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.

(4) There should be no strong electromagnetic fields (such as high-power motors and transformers) around the gas detector that will affect the work of the instrument.

In the main release source of leaking flammable gas and toxic gas, inspection (detection) points should be arranged:
(1) Seals of gas compressors and liquid pumps;

(2) Liquid sampling ports and gas sampling ports;

(3) Liquid drain (water) ports and vent ports;

(4) Flanges and valve groups of equipment and pipelines .

Gas detector maintenance

1. Keep the surface of the sensor air inlet clean so as not to be blocked and affect the use.
2. Always check whether the gas detector has accidental water ingress, so as not to affect its performance due to water immersion.
3. It is strictly forbidden to use a large amount of gas to directly charge the gas alarm, so as not to reduce the life of the sensor.
4. Users and non-professionals are strictly prohibited from disassembling the instrument without permission.
5. Under normal working conditions, calibrate regularly.
